After honing her craft in a busy salon and a rented room in a hairdressers, Sinead Bulley grew her client base sufficiently to go it alone. Sinead’s career took a new turn when she converted her garden room into a stylish home nail salon.
“The salon offers a wide range of designs, glitters and colours to meet the imagination and hopes of my clients where there’s no limit to the possibilities –I’m always up for a challenge!” laughs owner, Sinead. “I wanted my clients to feel completely relaxed and have everything they may need during an appointment, so I added extra little touches with a coffee bar and Wi-Fi.
“At The Nail Shack my treatment menu offers manicures, pedicures, gel polish and gel enhancements. I specialise in sculpted gel extensions and overlays, which is what the majority of my clients have. I use Akzentz builder gels which I absolutely love, they are so nice to work with. I also use CND SHELLAC and Crystal Nails products, along with Magpie Beauty glitters – my clients just can’t get enough of them!

“I wanted the decor in the nail shack to be really fresh and light. Previously, the room I had been in before was quite dark and didn’t have much daylight coming in. I found myself drawn to a Scandinavian and geometric theme as it’s bold, clean and fresh but at the same time cosy. I chose a calming colour palette of soft greys and pinks, all accessorised with copper finishes.
“My favourite piece in the room is my Chicybee shelf; I can display all my beautiful Magpie Glitter collection!”
