Searches for ‘butter yellow nails’ – a creamy, pastel version of the summery shade – have risen 179% month-on-month worldwide, with a dramatic increase as we enter the warmer months.

Annabelle Taurua, beauty expert at booking platform, Fresha, explains: “Butter yellow offers a really easy way to experiment with colour. It’s soft and playful, but still subtle enough to wear every day without feeling too bold or overwhelming.”
