Sunday 2 April saw the Nailing Mental Health event take place at London’s Intercontinental Hotel at the O2.
300 nail techs gathered to paint the nails of visitors in green, to represent the signature colour of mental health charities. Visitors were charged £5 per file & paint; the proceeds of which went to mental health charities, Mind and Samaritans.
Organised by celebrity nail tech, Stephanie Staunton, the event raised almost £5000 and saw support from the nail industry – including Scratch – and a number of other companies, who all lent a hand to the cause with goodies and raffle prizes.
