Global nail brand, OPI, is celebrating its 45th anniversary with the launch of the OPIcons collection, featuring ‘remixed versions’ of iconic shades.

Over the past four and a half decades, OPI has been exciting nail professionals, clients and enthusiasts with its shades. From nude hue, Bubble Bath, to bright red, Big Apple Red, the brand’s nail colours have stood the test of time.

Now, to celebrate its anniversary, OPI has launched spring 2026 collection, OPIcons. Inspired by the brand’s most iconic shades, the collection features these hues, but remixed. They boast ‘the same DNA, but with a twist in the name or colour’.

The OPIcons Collection includes 12 shades colour matched in GelColor and Nail Lacquer:

Meanwhile, 12 additional shades are available in the Infinite Shine formula:

The remixed shades include:

  • Rose, hot pink and bright fuchsia hues: Bathtime Bubbly, Strawberry Cosmo, Pompeii Pink, Passion-ista, Good Nighty Aphrodite and I’m Not Really an Influencer. These draw inspiration from classic favourites: Bubble Bath, Strawberry Margarita, Pompeii Purple, Passion, Aphrodite’s Pink Nightie and I’m Not Really a Waitress.
  • Bold corals, Shrimp Cocktail and Shock Em Orange, which are an ode to previous hues, Cajun Shrimp and Shock Em Red.
  • Neutrals in shimmery white, pale pink and greige: Kyoto Oyster, OPI’m a Bubble Bunny, Put it in Airplane Mode and You Don’t Know Suzi. These grounded tones are inspired by Kyoto Pearl, Bubble Bath, Funny Bunny, Put It in Neutral and You Don’t Know Jacques!.
  • Purple palettes ranging from soft and moody lavenders to shimmery burgundy: Mod About Me, Lincoln Park After Brunch, Lavender Bath and What’s Not to Lilac?. These shades are purple iterations of popular picks: Mod About You, Lincoln Park After Dark, Bubble Bath and Do You Lilac It?.
  • Blue and green shades: Sea Me Now, Big Apple Green, Oh Baby! and Less is More, which are reimagined versions of Do You Sea What I Sea?, Big Apple Red, It’s a Girl! & It’s a Boy! and Less is Norse.
  • The collection is rounded out with butter yellow Sunny Bunny, inspired by milky white Funny Bunny; shimmery peach Queens Rule inspired by Princesses Rule!; cherry red shimmer, Big Apple Energy, which takes inspiration from Big Apple Red, and creamy apricot Dulce de Latte inspired by Dulce de Leche.

“For 45 years, OPI has been in the business of inspiring consumers,” remarks OPI co-founder & brand ambassador, Suzi Weiss-Fischmann. “The OPIcons Collection is a celebration of this heritage.

“Our name, logo, iconic bottle, incredible formulas and colourful contents have become a messenger of beauty and inspiration. I love hearing about the emotional connections our shades have forged, and with this collection, we’re turning to our most iconic hues to create new favourites.”

OPI global director of colour equity, Jill Bartoshevich shares details of some of the remixed shades, commenting: “Nail Lacquer/GelColor hero shade, OPI’m a Bubble Bunny, brings together two of the most-requested neutrals of all time – Bubble Bath and Funny Bunny. This shade was born out of the viral trend of combining two coats of Funny Bunny and one coat of Bubble Bath, illustrating the full-circle effect of our brand inspiring a community, who in-turn inspires the brand. The second trend shade in these formulas, Queens Rule, is a shimmery peach – the ‘grown-up’ version of its inspiration, Princesses Rule!.

“There are also two Infinite Shine hero shades: Kyoto Oyster and I’m Not Really an Influencer,” adds Bartoshevich. “Kyoto Oyster is a more iridescent version of its inspiration, Kyoto Pearl, which is from the first-ever OPI colour launch. I’m Not Really an Influencer is inspired by one of our best-known shades, I’m Not Really a Waitress, and is a super vibrant, energetic fuchsia.”
