Beauty tool brand, Tweezerman, has partnered with Nottingham Forest Netball to champion confidence and empower the next generation of women in sport.

Based in Nottingham and with over 45 years of beauty industry experience, Tweezerman has decided to take its expertise beyond the beauty counter and onto the court.

Netball is the largest women’s team game in England, according to England Netball, with approximately 1.4 million women and girls playing annually. Youth sport has been linked to improved mental and emotional wellbeing and various other benefits such as social connections and critical life skills. However, keeping teenage girls engaged in sport remains a nationwide challenge.

By partnering with the Nottingham Forest Netball team, Tweezerman is investing directly into programmes designed to address this challenge, including Forest Netball Confidence Clinics. These offer focused coaching sessions for girls aged 14 and over, ‘creating supportive spaces where young players can develop their skills, build mental toughness and grow in confidence, both on and off the court’.

“This is not simply a sponsorship. It is a shared mission,” Tweezerman states.

Ajay Sethi, CEO of Tweezerman UK, says: “We are proud to be a Nottingham-based business and share Nottingham Forest Netball’s commitment to supporting women in sport, with our closely aligned values. As an active member of the community, we’re proud to partner with the Club to support the next generation of players both on and off the court.”

A huge part of the Forest Netball identity is about giving people in the local area an opportunity to build their self-confidence as part of a team. There’s clear synergy there and we’re delighted that Tweezerman has joined the Forest family.”
