Do you work from a residential salon setup, such as a room in your home or an outbuilding on the premises? Have you been offering nail services from your current location, for more than 12 months (prior to 1 February 2025)? Then you need to enter this category!

The Home Nail Salon of the Year offers a clean and welcoming space in which clients can enjoy nail services. They may also offer other beauty treatments within the space, but nail services are dominant offerings. The space can employ one or more nail professionals who deliver an exceptional service, from the booking process to the treatment and communication.

Note: This category is not suitable for commercial, high-street businesses. Enter the Nail & Beauty Salon of the Year or Nail Salon of the Year category instead.

What happens next? When entry closes on 15 March, all applications will be assessed. Five finalists in this category will be revealed on 6 April, and receive a visit from a mystery shopper. Their report, plus other criteria, will be assessed by a panel of judges. Their scores will determine the winner, who will be announced at The Scratch Stars Party in London on 5 July.
