The L&P Tech of the Year category recognises a nail pro that showcases exceptional control and capability with the acrylic liquid & powder (L&P) nail system. They are adept in creating stunning enhancements using both sculpting and tip & overlay techniques, and can sculpt extreme shapes using L&P. Note: this category is not suitable for techs only proficient in the Dip powder system.

What happens next? When entry closes on 15 March, all applications will be assessed. Five finalists in this category will be revealed on 6 April, and receive an email with details of a practical nail task. This must be completed live at the Scratch Stars judging day at Trafford & Stockport College (Stockport campus) on Monday 11 May. The scores from this will determine the winner, who will be announced at The Scratch Stars Party in London on 5 July.
